Has anyone seen improvement with autistic kids through vitamin and amino acid detox?
I put my daughter on a detox regimen about 5 weeks ago and even though no one can agree if she has autism or not, all her quirks red flags seem to be gone. She no longer visually stims, spins, or lines up toys. She also started a speech program with the school district 3 weeks ago she just turned 3 Her vocabulary has improved ten fold in this short period of time. I don't know if it is the school or the detox or maybe she is just outgrowing her quirks Has anyone else seen improvement like this through detox or maybe the school?I got sick of so called specialist's. With the okay of her Pediatrician and lot's of research I think I found a combination that works for her. Information on autistic kids?
At the moment I'm writing a story about a girl who's dealing with her younger brother, who's severely autistic, and how he affects her social life. It's realistic fiction.Anyways, I need a lot of information on autistic children 5 7 years old .As in, what age do they die at, what they typically act like, and what each degree of autism is like.I just need as much information as possible on autistic children so I can write the story easier.It would help a lot if you told me about any personal experiences with a child with autism or asperger's.
Why does my son feel more comfortable with autistic kids ?
he dont seem to like being around normal kids, he's always alone, dont have no mates. but he'll only talk or hang out with kids that are od, or have disabilities like asperges spectrum or autism. he's also abit strange with the dogs we have 2 jack russell terriers, and he likes to tease them allot and make them get vicious. he seems to be acting strange as well. but i dont know what the problem is. he went to a special school for 5 years too, and i dont know why he went there either, can anyone help ? could my son have any disabilities ?? thank u im a father btw
Noni juice .. for autistic kids ?
I have been hearing wonderful thing about noni juice .. My lil man has autism, and i have been thinking about buying it from the chiropractors office.. At 50 bucks a shot i wanted sum advice 0 Any mom's out there that reccomend it ? Gluten free for autistic kids?
My 4 year old stepdaughter is autistic, and an extrememly picky eater. She will eat only carbs, and only after she inpects each bite completely. All we can get her to eat is toast, pancakes, waffles, and crackers. She refuses all dairy, fruits, vegetables and meat. If any of these are offered to her, she puts herself on a hunger strike and will eat absolutely nothing at all for days. I have switched her to V8 fruit & veggie juice so that she gets at least a little nutients. We were just given some research that said that going gluten free for autistic kids can be a huge help. The reason that they crave only wheat foods is that the gluten mixed with their digestive system turns it into an opiate, therefore making them crave it. Since she eats only by how it looks, and will not taste something to find out if she likes it, we thought that this might be a help for her, but since we know so little about a gluten free lifestyle, we dont know where to start, or what to buy for her. It has to look exactly like the wheat version, and taste almost the same, if there is even the slightest difference in taste, after one bite, she will not eat again for days. If anyone here is, has been, or knows someone who is gluten free, could you give me some tips on where to start and what to buy? also, if anyone else has an autistic child with similar food issues, feel free to give me some tips as well. I am constantly worrying that she doesnt eat enough, and all she is getting are just empty calories, and very little actual nutrition. Thankswe have tried that, as i said, she must inspect every bite, and if there is something in on that bite that she refuses, then she will refuse it all and then not eat for days. she is unable to feed herself, she has extreme motor skills difficulty, so we cant just give her a bowl of food and expect her to eat it. if we try to hide things in her food, all that does is create a hunger strike for days on end, because she thinks we are trying to trick her into eating things she doesnt want, which, we essentially are
