Yes, the Autism Society of America has a District Of Columbia chapter: autism-society.org/ site/ Clubs?club_id= 1051 &pg= main there's also DC Autism Parents: dcautismparents.org/ they also have an online group: health.groups.yahoo.com/ group/ DCAutismParents/
