I've never had any problems with my kids and the vaccinations they've received. But I hear so much about autism and how dramatically it has increased in the last ten years. It has been definitely proved that thiremesol does not cause autism and besides that it was removed from the vaccines anyway and the autism rate is still climbing. The reason why children display signs of autism after the vaccines is because that time is about the time where autism signs appear. There is no debate. Why do people continue to put their children in danger of illness on the basis of a disproven claim?

Why do people still believe there is some connection between autism and vaccines?
I don't understand why someone would rather their child die from polio or measles or something? All the vaccine ingredients that were claimed to cause autism were removed 10 or 20 years ago, so if autism was really caused by that, rates should have plummeted. Plus they've spent money that could have been done on useful research to disprove any connection. And the guy who did the original study has lost his medical license for academic fraud on it. So why are people willing to risk killing their own or someone else's kids? Why do they still think there is some connection between autism and vaccines?

ny son is four and is due for his second dose of the mmr vaccine, and i am scared to go take him to get it because this is that one vaccine that has been thought to be linked to autism. and i dont know if that is what caused it for him, but his development was question on his 15 month visit and it was fine at his 12 month when he got the first mmr. does anyone know what my rights are as a parent. do i have to take him in to get this one? he has been progressing so much lately, he even can put his magnets on the fridge from 1 to 10 in order, this is a huge thing for him and us. i dont want to regress. i am so stressed. i just want to do what is best for him.

In the 1940s' autism was first diganosed in a group of children observed by two doctors Dr.Kanner and Dr. Aspergers.However there were no vaccines in the 1940s',vaccines was first given in 1964.Therefore vaccines are not the cause to autism.However in the 1940s' another medicine came to light and that was penicillin.Hmmm. 1940s' first diganoses of autism and penicillin was first given to people also.My thought could penicillin be the cause to autism? I do feel autism is genetic,however I now wonder because my husband ask me when was autism first diganosed and I said in the 1940s' and my husband said penicillin was also given to people for the first time in the 1940s'.So this is the question to everyone Do you think penicillin causes autism? Wheather it's penicillin or cousins to penicillin.
